The areas
affected by Hurricane Katrina and Rita are still in need of supplies and
monetary donations. Below you will find a list of the most
needed items.

Because of the wide spread
destruction from Katrina and Rita, the needs of the people affected by these
storms changes from day to day. What Ken-Tenn would like for everyone to realize
is that most of the families affected by the storms, lost not only their homes
but also their jobs and businesses. Because of legal battles that are on going
with insurance companies as to if the losses were flood related damage or wind
damage to their property. The residents of the affected areas are having to pay
for their old mortgages as well as start over from nothing. Ken-Tenn is trying
to focus on those people who were not covered by insurance or were under
insured.
The following are building
supplies needed daily ...drywall, sheetrock, windows, doors, plywood, paint and
roofing materials.
Also, some have reached the
point of moving back into their homes and are in need of basic furniture items
such as bedroom furniture, couches, chairs, dining tables and lamps.
